Don Moffat, FRAIC, OAA

Don Moffat has a reputation for careful listening and sensitive understanding of client concerns in project roles that have ranged from designer to principal. He has successfully led design teams to translate client visions into physical reality for a variety of institutional clients. His distinctive approach was developed from early experience assisting in the programming, master planning and design of the original campuses for York University in Toronto and Brock University in St. Catharines Ontario.

His understanding of social, cultural and education issues has been forged by a long-time volunteer commitment to the community, the arts and the profession. He is a past president of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, former member of the Hamilton Status of Women Committee, past chair of the Etobicoke Municipal Arts Commission, and past president of the Toronto Arts Council. He also served as chair of the Ontario Association of Architects, Education Committee and vice chair of the Registration Board.

He currently serves on the Toronto Board of Trade Economic Development Committee and the Board of the Toronto Arts Foundation.
