Update on the Sam Dillard Memorial Benefit Dinner

We created some confusion in a recent newsletter about the upcoming Sam Dillard Memorial Fund Dinner. In CCS alumNews 3:4 we stated that the funds raised that night would be earmarked for, among other things, future CCS tuition for the girls. Several alumni wondered about that, and the school board has clarified that the funds will used at Lianne Dillard's discretion as sole administrator of the fund. The fund is managed by First Financial Bank in Fairfield.

The dinner is Monday, December 15, 6:30 at Tri-County Assembly of God, 7350 Dixie Highway.

Invitations were sent in the mail last week and are also posted on the CCS website, www.cincinnatichristian.org/About. Please RSVP by returning the response card to the high school office or by emailing Sarah Cotterill at scotterill@cincinnatichristian.org by 12.10. The cost of the meal is $25 per person and payment is requested with your reservation.

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: look after widows and orphans in their distress.

European Classroom Changes Destination to Ireland

Instead of Greece as a destination for the summer of 2009, the European Classroom is heading to Ireland. The trip is July 1 through 10, and we will travel all over the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Alumni are welcome and encouraged to participate along with students and parents. The cost is $2,900 per person. Contact Wayne Beaver for details at wbeaver@cincinnatichristian.org
