"Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

Those are the words that Sam Dillard told two full generations of students that he lived his life to hear from his Lord Jesus Christ. On early Sunday morning he was surely hearing those words as he stepped into the presence of his Lord.

Mr. Dillard, teacher and coach at Cincinnati Christian Schools for over 30 years went home to his Lord after suffering a brain aneurysm. The entire CCS family extends its prayers, sympathy and support to Lianne Dillard and Callie and Zipporah.

CCS chapel this week will be dedicated to honoring the life and witness of Mr. Samuel Dillard. We are particularly encouraging any alumni who are able to attend. Monday morning was filled with Mr. Dillard stories from his colleagues and the students. What was missing was stories from former students and players.

The CCS School Board is sponsoring a special benefit event on December 15 dedicated entirely to honoring Sam Dillard and the support of Lianne, Callie and Zipporah.

Mrs. Rivera is collecting cards and thoughts about Mr. Dillard to be arranged in a memory book for Lianne and the girls. If you would like to add a note or card, please forward those to Mrs. Rivera by post or e-mail. This project will take a couple of weeks to finish, so there is plenty of time to participate.
